Bass Pickup replacement

Hey gang, I just picked up a used Fender Special (1994) for $50. Plays great but has too much pick up hum (buzzzzz). I am interested in some suggestions for a nice replacement pickup. The bass has a P-pickup in the neck position and J-pickup in the bridge position. If you know of another less expensive sollution, those suggestions are also welcome.

I have a brace of EMGs in my bass running off 18v that I am perfectly happy with. Want to get the EQ for them too but that will have to wait 'til I have satisfied my other equipment desires!! They are very quiet but its possible that they are stacked humbuckers.. I'm not quite sure to be honest. They are quite thick top to bottom but that might be the preamp....
