I am running a Fender Jazz Bass (mexico) into the rear Guitar input of the
Tascam 414...I am getting a slight buzz coming into the recording signal. Enough that I cannot EQ it out. Are the bass pickups poor quality and allowing an signal to pass thru? The buzz increases or decrease depending upon how the bassi is turned...like an antenna. I run a compressor thru as part of the effect send, but I have to get rid of this spurious bass noise first.
