Hello,

Very interested in the BAE 1073 Mic Pre/EQ to spice up my mix. Anyone using this or another Mono-Chanel unit in there mixer as Aux send/return effect? I'd like to have 2 units on the master bus but thats out of my fincancial range yet looking for a way to add that mojo to my mix.

I'm not so much interested in the preamp effect but very much in the EQ of the BAE 1073 to add air.

Thanks a lot for advice

I can think of nothing good that can result from putting an eq or a mic pre on a parallel effects loop. EQ should be in series with the signal, such as on an insert.

Absolutely. Things like EQ or compressors go in an insert. Time based effects would go to an Aux send/return.
