I'm looking at upgrading from my SB to an Audiophile 2496 (or perhaps the Omni Studio if I can come up with the extra $) or equivalent. I am running Sonar 2.0XL with XP on a P4 system. I have read (ok, not every word)the M-Audio manuals and can't find this answer. Without getting into a debate about 16 bit vs. 24 bit or 44 vs 96 sampling rate;
Can I record/playback with these cards at 16 bit/44100 or 48000 in Sonar using WDM drivers? MME drivers? If not, can you recommend another equivalent card in this price range ($150-200) that will? Thanks
