Has anyone bought a computer from audiocomputing.com? I went to their site and it looks pretty good - wanted to know of any real life experiences with them.

I don't know if they're any cheaper than just buying the parts suggested in various posts here. They're not any better either. The motherboards used are not what I would suggest and I know most people around here second that. Also, the problem with these bundles is that as soon as they hit the market, they're out of date. For example, Audiocomputer talks about their _huge_ 30GB disks. Sure, they're big but _huge_ nowadays means +75GB. Also, as prices on single components drop all the time, the bundles will always be overpriced. If you're not comfortable with putting the pieces together yourself, have the guys at the computer store do it for you for $50 or so.

Check old posts and you will find even better configurations.
