I often want to control my pitch correction plugin trough midi, and for that I need a midi track which has the melody of the song. It would help a lot if I had a plugin which listens to the original vocal track, detects the pitch and outputs it to the midi track. Then I could just edit that midi track a little instead of making it from scratch. I already found at least one that kind of plugin but it didnt really work at all, it failed completely at detecting the pitch even after some pre EQ.
So could you recommend some (hopefully free) vst plugin that would do the job?
