audio resotation with cubase??

I am working through a 78rpm record collection and just would like to know if Cubase LE5 would be suitable for use in sound restoration of my of this collection.
When I purchased my Tascam US-122MKII interface it was packaged with the Cubase but I had already started working Adobe Audition 3.0.

So, I ready to try this out if it would work.
 
Yes, as a host DAW, it will work. Though there is no real software included that will actually help much as far as restoration. What is it you are looking to do as far as restoration?

What is your budget? $349 for THIS.
