Audio Buddy

So ive been recording without a preamp....directly from mic to computer, and i really really need a preamp.
i was thinking audio buddy..would this be a good idea...for now and probly awhile i will only need two mic inputs...is this worth it, is it high quality enough?
ive have a 100 dollar budget, but if its a must i can raise it to w/e is needed..

what do you guys think?

I have an Audio Buddy. It's a perfectly good vanilla sounding kind of pre-amp. Be aware, though, that it doesn't deliver the full 48v phantom power recommended for most condensor mics. But, if you use it with dynamics or electrets that shouldn't be a problem.
