Hi all,
I recently purchased the Audio Buddy + MXL990/991 packaged from Guitar Center and have just begun to use it. However, I am encountering a problem where the phantom power is cutting out (or rather no longer functioning) after about 2-3min of use. Everything functions properly again after I turn the unit off and on. However, the same issue will occur 2-3min later. I'd say this problem has a 70% consistency.
My equipment list to perhaps give a bit more info:
-MXL990 + 991 > Audio Buddy > BOSS BR-600
-Both mics are using XLRF > XLRM connections
-Audio Buddy Output > BR-600 is using unbalanced 1/4" TRS Connectors
I purchased the unit in the US and had it brought back here by a friend to China. I am currently using a 220v>110v transformer. The Audio Buddy unit itself is constantly getting power, but the Phantom Power is having the issues. Would this have an effect on just the Phantom power?
