At The Gates cover song

Hi all,

I've done a cover of a song called 'Blinded By Fear' by original Swedish metallers 'At The Gates'.

I'm basically fishing for someone who can do that style of vocal to add some vocals :)

Sound spretty good man.

I have a mate who might be able to do vocals over it but probably not for a while.

I think the guitar tone sounds a little weak in a way, but it's kind of close to the original and their tone had a really weird quality to it on that album, which was great.

Maybe also lower the snare a touch in the mix.

I'll elt you know about my mate who can do vocals. It probably won't be for around a month or so as I'm going away for uni holidays soon.

I totally agree on the guitars. It just occured to me that the original song is tuned right down to BEADGB which I imagine would make a huge difference in terms of the aura created by the guitars. Something I should look into really :)

I'll definitely bump this thread in a month though if your mate is available!

Does anyone else have any comments and advice on the mix?
