Speaking of tape, here's a recording I did of a string-band on a Craig 1963 tape machine :


Single track, mono, 1/4" tape, in a much smaller room!
 
It's much more about the recording/mic'ing techniques and playing then i guess
That tape recordings sounds like a time travel :e very authentic
 
Fun surf sound - I was listening to the Bambi Molesters today so it's interesting that I dropped in on your reverb recording as well.
Very good capture & cool songs too!
