Arrdvark Q10 vs firepod

okay, basicaly I have the option of getting either one of these for about the same price, I don't realy mind about one being pci and one being firewire, and they both come with cubase le. I understand that the company the made the arrdvark have folded, so no longer being able to get tech support may be an issue. How stable are the Q10 driver, and how is the quality of the converters and the peamps?

and more importantly, is the Q10 enough better than the firepod to make not having support worth it?... Thanks

I don't own a Q10, but I have read of driver issues depending on what version of Windows you're running. I have used their Pro 24/96 card at my job, and that card works really well.

But as someone who did own a card from a company that went under (namely the GadgetLabs Wave 824, which I loved until it died) I would recommend going with a company that has support. FWIW, I've read mixed owner reviews of the Firepod. You might want to look into other options.
