Are there any rules here?

Before I post a song in this clinic, are there any rules before I do?

Being a total newbie at this, I was curious if it was alright to post a song with no added effects, no anything except volume adjustment to control clipping.

I considered adding some reverb and fading out at the end but I'd rather give a raw recording my first time.

I guess that's it.

the only rules I know of... are that the newbie has to buy the pizza for everyone else for the first week.

naked pics of your mom might work too for us older guys!!

Actually, there are 2 others.

1. Never, EVER, under ANY circumstances, post a thread in the clinic that does not have a link to a song.

Dude, you fucked up.

2. Never, EVER, under ANY circumstances, delete a thread.

Dude, you fucked up, and you can't fix it.

:D

In all seriousness, I wouldn't call them "rules," but there are some things that'll help you get more feedback:

1. Ask for input on ONE song at a time; (my first post was to 3 tunes, lol).

2. Host your tune on NWR - we're lazy, and we don't mind waiting for a download, but fill out a registration form on "Soundclick" or "MP3.com?"...forget it.

3. No matter how much you disagree with somebody's opinion on your song, thank them and move the fuck on, lol. Don't argue. :D
