are there any places that build custom PC's?

i would love to be able to go talk with a rep about what pc i wanted. and to hand them my soundcard and have them install it into the new pc.

does any such place exist? or something simular?

If you buy the components im sure there is someone local that will build it for you. Just call around.
There are also custom designed PC's for recording purposes. Just do a search on Google for it.
