I have been mixing my bands songs. Learning new things for the next time we record. I simply compress, which I'm still learning. Seems hard to notice a lot on this effect. But getting better. I EQ. I know the freq for the instruments. Use cheat sheets as I go. I use sends to add effects. Delays,reverbs. I use multi band compression, a little reverb, limiter on the main. I don't mix down to one track. In the process of treating my room. I hear about bussing and compression from triggering this and that. I don't know what they are talking about. Am I missing anything. Do I need to be doing something else or adding anything. I think I have the basics down. Thanks for all input.
