I know how you feel, I've been there. Have you tried placing an ad in the musicians wanted section of your newspaper?
Do you record music, or just play? Feel free to stick around. The guitarists forum is pretty good.

Mainly I am just a player but If I could ever get up the confidence I wold like to record. I thought about placing an ad like this in My local paper but I thought who would actually read it? I am in the process of posting on a lot of different sites. Harmony-central, Guitar.com, a few band sites, Musician available, the mode etc. Thanks!
