The SONALKSIS SV-517 EQ
i just got my copy.. installed it and damn. it blows waves away.. (never thought i'd say that)

the waves reneq is close in quality but this eq is awesome.. its made by 4 R&D developers from AMS Neve.
cost about $240 and its well worth it. i'm gonna make my $240 back on friday... the only eq i heard that blue me away like this was the uad-1eq's and sometimes the oxford eq

what type of eq is it?

musical type ala ren-eq, cambridge, timeworks eq etc...

or more transparent ala Waves linear broadband eq or voxengo curve eq?

from what i've heard about it from other engineers was it wasn't special...never tried it myself though

actually its a little bit of both..its smooth,transparent, and has a nice tone.
i like its sound over waves..
