I downloaded the trial version of this last night and fooled around for a while. While there's no substitute for a mic'ed amp, I thought this did a really decent job...
...the only issue I had was with the noise - even with no instrument plugged in, I noticed that the stand alone version produced a good bit of audible hiss. Anyone else notice this, or could it be something I am doing wrong either in my settings, or in going into the sound card?
