Anyone tried the new guitar cab mic

curious about the Sennheiser E609 Silver Dynamic Guitar Mic. you know the flat pannel ones that have been in musicans friend for a bit now. i cant find them on ebay and found no other reviws so i was wondering how well they perform. And how you would rate it next to a SM-57 (wich i use now) thank you for the insight
 
I saw Daniel Lanois using them live. He even sang through one. I don't know if they were new or old. He just hung them by the cable over the top of his amps right is front of the speaker. He knows a few things about mic's and he seemed to think they were good enough.
