Anyone know a good midi keyboard??

$500 is a pretty big budget for a MIDI keyboard. Are there any specific features you want? Knobs? Buttons? Pads? Weighted keys? Number of keys?

That's a little bit like asking if anyone knows a good motor vehicle for under $20,000.
One huge variable is the keybed. Do you want:
- 25 keys with synth feel? That'll run you about $50, then you can add $450 of bells and whistles and knobs and gizmos.
- 88 keys with a real piano feel? That'll run you about $1,700 (though it'll come with a sound engine, since it appears nobody's yet decided to make a bare controller with a top-of-the-line action).
