Hi, I currently have a project1 dbx 266xl compressor, and I have been pretty happy with it. I don't actually use it in recording, but that's another story.
I came accross a Yamaha GC2020BII for pretty cheap and I was wondering how they are. I have the same vintage and series of 31 band EQ and the build quality seems much better than my 266xl.
Anyway I am in the market for another two (individual) channel compressor. Looking to get away for under $150 so if this is better than the 266 I will go for it.
