I know the sex appeal of this item is really high...but in music quality is more important...anybody know how this stands up again the m audio firewire solo?...

Do you mean this one:

If that's the case, right off the bat one advantage over the FW solo is 2 preamps instead of just one...

Have you given this one any thought?

I know it's a couple hundred more than the M-audio or Tapco BUT... you get MIDI I/O, 8 audio ins and 8 audio outs (2 with preamps) all balanced, Headphone out, Main stereo outs, S/PDIF I/O, great converters etc

Ya that's the Tapco one i been talking about...sex appeal wise i'll rather have the Tapco over the M audio one...but quality is more important to me...and i'll only be using one mic input so i have no use for 2...so it's the same price but i want to know what is better quality wise...the yellow will also match my RP5's...
