Just been looking today at this bass:

Plays smooth, fast, is comfortable for my hands, is thin at the nut, but looking for some opinions if anyone has recorded with one.
I want to get back into a real bass for recording (been using my guitar synth, and it's just not the same), and this seems to fit the bill. I especially like the installed Fishman (as I have had good results with the piezos on my Godin), but have never used them with bass.
Anyone played this ? Recorded with one ?
Very comfortable for a "studio" bass too (sits well on the lap

If I do buy it (tomorrow, even, especially if they take a trade on my Martin Backpacker), I'll let you know how it is ...
I can get it for about 400 US, so it's not a bad deal.
