Any Ideas for mic stands?

Well i just bought some okatavas mics as my first pair of condensor mics but i dont have enough money to buy mic stands... anybody know and remedies to make some homemade mic stands??


I just want to record my drum set to experiment..... as soon as i get more money im buying the stands but mean while i want to get my recordings started.. any ideas?

If you have a drop ceiling, wrap the mic cable around the metal framework. If you have a sheetrock ceiling, put a couple eyehooks in the ceiling and wrap your cables around those so you mic hangs at the best height. You can even just lay the mic's on something, pointed in the proper direction. These are major budget suggestions, but will work.
