I like the vocal. I just wasn't really trying to get a "keeper" with when I sang it. There are a couple of spots that kind of bug me....I think I can do a better vocal.
But...
Sometimes I think that and can't sing a better one though.

Because it's a good song and I want to do a cover of it that's why.
By the way, it's not a John Anderson song... it's a Cal Smith song. John Anderson, like me, did a cover of it.
I've posted originals here plenty of times. I just want to sing and record good songs no matter who writes them.
So, why don't you write a killer country song, as good or better than this one?
I'll be glad to record it!
