Any Avalon 737sp users?

Hi there,

I've just bought a used Avalon 737sp from a music store and have a few questions for anybody else that currently uses one?

1) Every time I switch the phantom power 48v off there are a few big pikes in the VU meter. Is this normal?

2) How could I tell if it has the 'babyface' fast attack mod for the compressor (now included in newer versions)?

3) Does anyone have the PDF manual? I can't find one for download anywhere on the whole web. Only thing is a 2 page spec sheet but I believe the original had some useful factory settings advice....

4) One LED is out - The one under the Avalon logo. Are these easy to replace?

1) Yes
2) Listen to it. If you can't tell, it doesn't matter.
3) Call Avalon and ask them.
