Unrelated, Waves just replaced their old licensing software and now I can't install my plugins on the new computer I wanted to use.

What did they change? I'm not aware of any earth-shattering changes in the pipeline for them.

They replaced waves licensing center with waves central. For a while it wasn't digitally signed so macs wouldn't install it without a kludgy workaround. As of this morning it is fixed though so I am happy.
