Just reformatted my computer and installed the new XP SP3 and updated "all" drivers on all hardware and updates on guitar recording software. Prior to re-install Amplitube 2 and Sonar 4 Studio was working flawless with zero drop outs, now that I re-installed everything, the only time Sonar drops out is when I turn on amplitube 2 when I record and playback!?? Also cpu is at 67%, isn't that kinda high with only 1 tracking playback with amplitube 2?
I was previously using wdm/ks which worked perfectly til now. can't figure it out.
None of this is making sense to me, again I have updated all drivers and software. Need help please, here is an idea of what my computer is and set up, thanks for the time and help!
Athlon XP 1.6 Gig
Windows XP Pro sp3
MAudio 2496 soundcard
Sonar 4 Studio
Amplitube 2
80 gigs of hardrive
160 gig external HD
1 gig of RAM
-all sound is turned off and the 2496 is the primary sound, no sharing
