Americana Tune??

Great song. I'm always looking forward to hearing your work and this is one of the best. Your buddy sure can write some nice songs.

I do have one suggestion and maybe it's a personal taste thing, but I thought the mandolin could come down a bit when it's not the solo instrument. The arrangement and sound space gives it enough room on its own that it can sit back in the mix and still be heard cleanly. Or not, it's good as it is now, too.

Let me know when the CD is ready. I'm itching to get these songs on my iphone. I travel a lot and need some new tunes to listen to while on the plane!!!

I never have anything constructive to say on your work, other than how nice it sounds and how well captured it is. I love the earthy clunk of the banjo in particular here Elton.

I don't know if you're familiar with Alejandro Escovedo but your posts often bring to mind the feel off some of his stuff.
