Why is it that a large percentage of recording threads turn into something other than recording? If I type anything into the search engine, there is a 50/50 chance i'm gonna get posts about everyone's top 10 favorite albums or "the 50 most underestimated guitarists of all time" ?

I also wonder why threads like this show up in places like the mic forum, instead of the user feedback forum. In other words, I wonder why people can't figure out the right place to post stuff.

When I do my searches I use the advanced search feature and just search in the titles instead of the all the post.........this really narrows down the search.
