I have one of these.....an Alesis Micro Enhancer...I love it....puts the icing on the cake of any tone......used in conjuntion with an Aphex Big Bottom....I think it's a killer combination......

* Hi....I use mine on the outputs of my Korg Triton....so it's an overall thing....here's my signal chain....Triton-->Aphex-->Alesis-->2xBehringer Tube Pre-amps-->Korg Kaoss Pad-->MAckie VLZ12 Pro....at the mixer....everythings dead flat...the tonality's already been beefed up......I also use a Korg A3 across the FX Send/Return of the Mackie....I add a tiny bit of very slow Chorus/Reverb which gives the whole thing a wider spread....sounds just fine.....
