Alesis DM5 vs. SR-16

ok people.the people in the alesis forum did not give me an answer maybe someone here has an opinion........ DM5 vs. SR-16..... i own a 16 looking at the DM5..... pros /cons. i am just using it for the sounds... my sequencer will trigger it .... I don't need to really be able to program beats and what not......

I have one. I think it's good. Like a lot of machines, the cymbal decay isn't quite there, but depending on the tune and the mix, it may or may not be noticeable. No experience with the SR16, so I'm not familiar with the sounds. I have an HR16 that I used to use to program the drum parts, and the DM5's drum sounds are in a whole other league.
