After about 4 months of griving over the loss of the best girl in my life, and a drinking binge, I came up with something barely coherant...you guys can critique and let me know..

I didn't write anything about missing her cause it's always so fucking hokey...this is the closest I could come to not feeling too bad...and I had to get obscure in the chorus just to make it livable.

I was playing it slow and acoustic with a hell of a lot of ambient feedback on a guitar in the studio last night....demos coming soon.

I won't go into a breakdown of your lyrics, suffice it say that they're brilliant. I've been there too, head on the bar, railing into oblivion, blaming and shaming myself. You're lyrics hit the nail on the head. I can't wait to hear the recording. Post it in the MP3 forum when you're done.

breakdown is complex

a breakdown of the lyrics would be complex...certain lines mean certain things....

as for me, my favorite one is "this stupid guitar doesn't cut it anymore" - I turned to music thru most of my 20's as an escape because I wasn't in a relationships...it was a sort of mistress...but now that I'm 30, man...it's just not doing it for me anymore...I need the lady... - when she left, I realized I couldn't go back to the music and feel as I did before...

but anyways....thanks...will try to get a demo up soon.
