AKG Perception 200 for screaming/singing vocals

its small price tag leads me to believe its not gonna be great...

i record a lot of screamo bands and need a mic that i can use to capture screaming as well as singing well..

id done a search on the mic already.. but im new to mics and i dunno if screaming makes a difference

This mic has quite a bit of bang for the buck. I use it for most of the vocals I do. I like it's low end response, but the top end leaves a bit to be desired.

I haven't done a whole lot of work on this mic with people screaming, but that will make a difference.

All in all it's a good mic, and I use it quite a bit.
