AKG C414 TLII Question

Hi: A friend has one of these laying around collecting dust(it is in mint shape, stored in the original case), and I want to buy it. He is a good friend, and neither of us have a clue to what this mic is worth. Does anyone have a ballpark price that would be fair to both of us? Thanks Walter
 
550-650 would probably be a great deal for you and good enough for him.
 
What Strave said. $600-$750 is the ballpark, and I envy anyone that can afford to have one of them lying around, collecting dust. Does he not record, or is it just that with a Soundelux ifet7, the AKG doesn't see that much use?-Richie
