The VS880 does not have any XLR nor phantom power capabilities. I have found this confusing since it does offer TRS balanced input into their mic preamps, an XLR jack isn't much money and getting phantom power isn't that tuff. Does the mic have battery capability? If not, your options are to go through a mixer with XLR and phantom power (best if through an insert jack or direct out), get a small phantom power supply or go get a mic preamp that will very likely come with phantom power. All these options have plenty of cost and ease of use pros and cons.
