Hello artists, techies, etc.... I'm considering buying an Akai DPS16 outboard harddisk recorder. You can record up to 16 tracks, at 96khz, with 24 bit converters, and 56 bit internal processing. However, I noticed it doesn't have s/pdif or adat lightpipes, though it does appear to have someother digital as well as analog outputs. Has anyone used this machine or does anyone know of any reviews of it?? or How well it outputs to cd recorders and what not?? I checked the Akaipro web sight, and could not find a downloadable pdf for this particular product. Feedback would be extremely great.
