again please help with, anyone with a XP-60 or 80

I have the XP-60, and I did post this before, but it didn't work, How do you turn off tracks in the XP-60??

For instance. I want to use tracks 1 & 2 in the XP-60 and then use my Mo-Phatt for tracks 3,4 & 5. But I need to turn off tracks in the XP-60 in order to do that....

The manual does not help one bit.

and also, i need to be able to hook it up to mu protools Le. so I don't have the access to use both midiouts from my MPC to control the 2.
 
in performance mode you should select midi... from there go to midi... now you'd need to set you Rx (receive) and Tx (transmit). you select each channel by pressing the 1-16 track/part buttons and set each one up how you'd like.

at least that's what it looks like... i haven't even sequenced anything with the xp80.
