Adobe Audition 3 and Addictive Drums

perhaps he wasn't that clear but it seems to me he is talking about assigning each pad to its own channel in AA, ie 8 seperate outputs rather than the default stereo out.

I could probably figure it out if I messed with it a bit, but tbh AA isn't my favored choice for using VSTi's...

Mistral said it a lot better than I did! That is Exactly what I'm looking
to do. Thank's Ed

What audio card do you use?
You need a card with 8 outputs. Connect one speaker to each and every ouputs and set up your AA 3,0 for 8 outputs:
Edit\ Audio Hardware Setup\ Input and Outputs
You have to assign 8 outputs in corresponding field.

Import your 8 drum files to Aa 3,0 Multitrack view.
Assign each and every of them to corresponding output.

Drum away and enjoy your surround.

My understanding is that Audition 3 does not support multiple-out VSTs, at least according to stuff I've read on the Adobe Audition forum.
