If I already have some old ADATs with the transports broken, and my soundcard supports adat lightpipe I/O, will the lightpipe work in real time? I mean, is it essentially just 8 more inputs and outputs? Once I hook it up the the ADAT machine, will the adats inputs and outputs work essentially like interfaces to my computer? That would be sweet.
