Are there any tricks to direct recording an active bass? When inputing to my 002R pre, the output signal was way hot in the headphones no matter where the knob was on the guitar and transposes to the monitors. I also tried one of the non-pre'd inputs and the signal was very weak. It works perfectly with my passive bass but the dude wants to use his own gear so Im kinda in a corner. Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
