Put down one acronym or buzz word that drove you nuts until you figured it out or think you have it figured out...

TDM - Time Division Multiplexing - seems to be the buzz word for systems that have dedicated DSP processor/s to handle plug-in load. Pro tools HD vs. Pro Tools LE.

Well, I meant music recording related acronyms...

Although, last night I accidently maxed out the fader knob on the bass track and got horrid distortion through my monitors causing me to yell OMG WTF !!! :eek:
 
Oh, sorry. OK, how about RMS?

RMS (Root Mean Squared) is a measure of the amp's ability to supply clean power over a continuous period. This rating is important because it is used to indicate the realistic power handling capability of a speaker.
