Acoustic treatment advice needed.

Hi,

I am setting up my recording/control room in a small room (10' x 13'), and want to treat it for proper sound absorbtion for both recording and mixing. Attached is a basic diagram. Can anyone give me some tips? Or know where else I can look, or books to get?

Your basic layout looks alot like a plan John Sayers has up over at the SAE site for a "Bedroom Studio". Check it out at:

Thanks Alex, There's a lot of good info on the SAE site. But I've still got a long way to go to figure out how much of each kind acoustic treatment will give me a true sound for my space.
