Acoustic Song

My friend came over the other night and this is something we recorded on the spot...one mic recording in mono.

We don't rehearse or anything before we record we just try and come up with stuff on the spot and record that way because it's more fun.

He's playing the rhythm and I (tried) to come up with a lead over it.

Can't really adjust levels or anything because we recorded at the same time onto one track.

The intro almost sounds like an old 78 RPM... Just personally - it wasn't my fav effect but that's just me.....

...when the main rhythm comes in the sound is better for me.....

For an improv or jam this is very tight and smooth....

That one mic must be a (nice) figure 8 because I'm getting equally nice sounds from both acoustics...

I could handle a tweak more lead but that's not possble as you stated....

Yea my friend added an EQ effect at the beginning and end to give it a "low-fi" kind of sound. I wasn't crazy about it at first but I think it sounds kinda cool.
