Acoustic Guitar test

Hopefully geocities doesn't complain about bandwidth.. but

What do you think of my acoustic guitar sound here

I used 2 rode nt5 pencil mics, but i had some bad sound so I compressed 3:1, eq'ed out some bass and raised the high, then put reverb on it. I may have overdone it. Please don't flame me if you dont like it. I'm just a beginner.

Any suggestions?

..hmm i have a bad feeling about geocities...how do other people post music?

Begginer or not it is a nice sound.
By compressing it as much as you did it lost a little dynamic feel, but it would be a good sound for a gentle guitar rack for a story type song.

Sounds clear but not harsh.
I say it is good.

I don't think it sounds bad. I'm hearing both some nice warmth and nice high-end.

What kind of guitar is it?

That is a Cort with bad strings. Ya I feel it would sound a lot better without the compression now that I listen to it. Thanks for the replies.
