Accoustic treatment and cats

So i had a piece of foam on a wall (not accoustic treatment just sitting there) for a long time and my cat tends to go scratch it, that's one of the main reason why i have no accoustic treatments yet.. Any of you guys ever had animals destroying their accoustic pannels? i'd rather not buy some if it'd get torn to pieces....

So far my cat's never went for any of the cloth covered ones- current fave scratching spot is Danley sub cover.
But a slab of 3" solid foam (fits perfectly for a block in a window frame), yeah he will go after that. Go figure.

My dog peed on one of my real traps. She's only 9 pounds so it only left a little mark but it's still there despite my efforts at cleaning it.

Buy the cat a scratch pole, when it scratches anything else move it to the scratch pole. Cats love scratch poles.

I hoped to find a question about how having cats in your room affect the acoustics of the space. I'm slightly disappointed now...
