A very good day of drum recording

I moved my drum set from a small room in the basement into the large open part. I've got a Bonham kit but with smaller drums. I had the best luck recording drums ever(I've been home recording since day one of the original cassette portastudio). I used two AKG C1000's as overheads pointing at the floor toms and the other pointing to the snare area. I put a dynamic in front of the bass drum port and then a nice large diaphram mic 50 feet away pointing up into the stairwell's high ceiling area. I mixed the three mics at the kit as a group and then the distant mic seperately so I can add as much as needed. So far so good. The lower frequency I can get out of the large hollow stairwell area is massive. I've never gotten a better thud out of a 20 incher. I'm psyched!!!
