a noisy system
I have a horrible buzz when using phantom power on my valve pre-amp. I thought it was the preamp so I got a replacement(5 months later it arrived mind you) still buzzes.Thought it was my mic -nope not that.. desk -nope hmmm tried without pc running thought it might be interferance from monitor or something..
still buzzed. I took everything down to the local music shop where I bought everything. Wouldn't ya know it It was as quiet as a mouse. Must be my domestic power supply I guess.
Anyone had this problem or heard of it?
I've heard of a UPS which is supposed to clean up noisy power.Also heard of power conditioner.
Advice anyone?
