A fruityloops question

I am controlling my keyboard from my computer using fruityloops. When I put my bass guitar on the piano roll from my keyboard through a USB interface Midi device, My bass is starting about 2 or 3 seconds earlier than it's supposed to. Does anyone know the reason and how I can get it to come in on time?

I've heard a whole bunch of chatter and counterchatter about latency, but not about early-ency! You MUST be doing something wrong. Go back and read the FL manual or set up your midi interface again. Or both.

I found out what the problem was, I had the buffering level pushed to far to the right and my beat on fruityloops was starting to late. thanx NEway.
