98Lite and DMA - friends?

I have a dual boot 98lite (micro w/ 95 Explorer shell) and NT4 system and I use 98 only when recording w/ CoolEdit and it's been pretty stable. AMDk6-2 333 w/ 64MB (yeah I know, about to order more but I do quite well with just that). I'm just curious if I activate DMA in 98 whether it will affect the NT boot.. Don't care if NT doesn't have DMA, don't need it..
 
no boot manager, just installed NT on top of 98 (I think) and NT set it all up for me, I just choose from a little batch file thing. Besides NT being crasherrific (I still blame Netscape - install a net browser and watch everything go to hell) 98 does great.
 
Well, I don't think it would have any problems. I triple boot W2K, 98 Lite and 98 with no problems. The hardware settings for each OS should kick in after the batch file menu thing.
